Egyptian National Commission (UNESCO) Sends 4 Messages to Face Coronavirus and Rumors


Headed by Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Chairman of Egyptian National Commission (UNESCO), the Egyptian National Commission for Education, Science and Culture (UNESCO-ALESCO-ISESCO), in cooperation with the Regional Bureau for Sciences in the Arab States in Cairo (UNESCO), World Health Organization and UN Information Center in Cairo, sends four important messages in order to face Coronavirus (COVID-19) and rumors around it.
The messages call for:
– Following the recommended measures of prevention, in addition to repel the spread of wrong information.
– Not spreading fear in society, warning of anonymous voice messages.
– Checking information sources, in addition to publish only accurate news.
– Stopping racism, as the virus (19-COVID) does not differentiate between sex or race.
