Dr. Khaled Abdel Halim, Governor of Qena, received this morning at his office Professor Dr. Ahmed Akawi, the South Valley University President, to discuss and enhance cooperation and coordination between the governorate and the university to achieving sustainable development plans and improving the level of services provided to the residents of the governorate. The meeting was attended by Dr. Hazem Omar, Deputy Governor, Dr. Abbas Mansour, former President of South Valley University, Dr. Mohamed Saeed, Vice President of South Valley University for Community Service, Environment Development, Ms. Taroub Tulba, Assistant Secretary, Mr. Abdel Razek Hussein, Assistant Secretary, Mr. Mubarak Ahmed Mahmoud, Director General of Media and Public Relations, and Mr. Ahmed Hamdi Hegab, Office Director of the University President.
Dr. Ahmed Akawi began by congratulating Dr. Khaled Abdel Halim on his appointment as Governor of Qena and expressed confidence in his competence and distinguished experience, wishing him success, prosperity in his duties, and advancement in the level of services provided to citizens across various fields. He affirmed the university’s full support for development efforts in the governorate.
On his part, Governor of Qena praised the role played by South Valley University in serving the community, expressing his desire for fruitful cooperation and utilizing the university as a center of expertise, given its diverse educational programs, research activities, and scientific contributions.
