Arab Scientific Research Councils Union declared that Dr. Wissam Mohammad Ali Mahmud Salim, Assistant Professor in Botany Department, Faculty of Science won the first rank in the field of environmental research within scientific research competition that organized by the Union for selecting the best scientific research in the Arab region for 2015, which included fields of medicinal plants , aromatic , environment and humanities.
It is worth mention that the Union of Arab Scientific Research Councils is an organization concerned with the coordination of efforts and exchanging of experience among the establishments and centers of Arab Scientific Research, besides increasing the cooperation and holding scientific meetings , exchanging of research results and scientific information in Khartoum.
