Decisions of the University Council

The University Council of South Valley University, in its meeting held at the university’s headquarters in Qena, chaired by Dr. Ahmed Akkawi, President of the University, made several important decisions:
- **Exemption of Students from Specific Areas**: The council approved the exemption of students from the regions of (Halaib, Shalateen, Abu Ramad, and Marsa Alam) from the prescribed university fees, including dormitory fees (accommodation and meals) for the academic year 2024/2025.
- **4th Conference on Basic Sciences and Sustainable Development**: The council agreed to hold the 4th Conference on Basic Sciences and Sustainable Development from January 28-30, 2025.
- **Cooperation Protocols**: The council approved the cooperation protocol between the Training Unit at the Faculty of Science and the International Company for Training and Human Resource Development, as well as a protocol between the Training Unit at the Faculty of Science and the October Victory Center for Vocational Training.
- **Security Plan for the University**: The council also approved the security plan for South Valley University for the academic year 2024/2025.
