Qena university hospitals in cooperation with the Preventive Medicine Sector at the Ministry of Health under the auspices of Dr. Abbas Mansour, President of South Valley University, and Dr. Osama Hussein Abdellah General Director of Qena university hospitals have organized seminar entitled “Dangers of Hepatitis B Virus.”
Dr. Hassan Ibrahim, Director of the university hospital- Maabar area in Qena, confirms the continuing the fruitful cooperation between Qena university hospitals and the Ministry of Health, including controlling and reducing spread of hepatitis B virus. He added that Qena university hospitals organize many therapeutic medical campaigns to various villages, districts, provinces and centers of Qena, Luxor and the Red Sea to raise awareness about such diseases and methods of controlling and reducing it.
The seminar was attended by Dr. Khalid Abdullah, head of the Pediatrics department Qena University Hospital , Dr. Nasser Abdel Jaber, head of Gynecology and Obstetrics department, , Dr. Hussein Salah, director of preventive medicine and infectious diseases and Mohammed Al Shaheer, observer of mentoring infectious diseases in addition to doctors and nurses of pediatrics and obstetrics at Qena University Hospital.
