Conclusion of the Training Program “I Am Also Responsible”


          Under the auspices of Professor Ahmed Akkawi, President of South Valley University, the activities of the training program “I Am Also Responsible” concluded on Thursday. The program, organized by the National Training Academy and hosted by the university, aimed to enhance university students’ awareness of the importance of responsibility in various aspects of life and to prepare a generation of young leaders capable of driving positive change in their communities.

          Implemented over five days, from August 10 to 14, the program combined theoretical lectures, practical applications, interactive discussions, workshops, and case studies. These components contributed to deepening participants’ understanding of social responsibility and social change, thereby fostering a generation of conscious youth committed to building a more sustainable future. A total of 100 male and female students from various university faculties took part in the training program.

Prof.  Akkawi emphasized the significance of the training program in developing students’ leadership abilities and skills. He commended the pivotal role played by the National Training Academy in nurturing young cadres and equipping them for the labor market and development needs. He further noted the university administration’s commitment to providing comprehensive support for student activities aimed at fostering well-rounded personal development, preparing students for professional engagement, and encouraging effective participation in society—contributing ultimately to the creation of a new generation capable of assuming responsibility and contributing to comprehensive development.
