On 22/2/2017, the events of the 9th International Camp for Scouts concluded under the auspices of Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khaled Atef Abdel Ghaffar , Minister of Youth and Sports Eng. Khaled Abdel-Aziz , Governor of Luxor Dr. Mohamed Sayed Badr, Secretary General of the Association of Arab Universities Dr. Sultan Abu-Orabi and President of the University Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour with the participation of 14 Egyptian universities. Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour referred to the importance of teamwork and demonstrating good sportsmanship in the different competitions, thanking all the attendees for their great role in the camp’s success. He also asserted the university’s keenness on organizing tours to Luxor and Red Sea Governorate for the participating delegations to achieve the maximum benefit from the camp.
