Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, President of the University, has witnessed the closing ceremony of student activities and honoring distinguished students at Faculty of Mass Communication under the supervision of Vice President for Students’ Affairs Prof .Dr. Mohammed Abul Fadal Badran in the presence of Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Scientific Research Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Khodary and Dean of the Faculty Prof. Dr. Hala Nofal. Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour asserted that the university hasn’t only been a place for study but also a place for encouraging talents and discovering distinguished students in cultural, social, artistic, sports and scouts fields to enrich their personality and enlighten them with the nature of society and the role of culture in developing the country and personal abilities and also to disseminate cultural, literary and artistic awareness .Additionally, Prof. Dr. Hala Nofal referred to the activities objective that was discovering talents and increasing the number of participating students in various activities to get a distinguished graduate who is able to manage his life and benefit his home. In the context of the ceremony, a campaign entitled” Discover your Country” was held to highlight tourist and archaeological areas in Egypt to stimulate tourism to resist rumors and attract more tourists. At the end of the ceremony, certificates of appreciation were distributed to distinguished students in the presence of a large number of academic staff and students.
