On July 16, 2017, the university will organize a conference entitled “Choose your Faculty” in cooperation with Library of Alexandria at the largest conference hall in Luxor for students with secondary school to give them some information about the university (faculties, departments and attendance percentage).A workshop will be also organized for preparing leaders of students in human development to give students an idea about the university and its faculties. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Abul Fadal Badran, Vice President for Students’ Affairs, asserted the importance of organizing the conference where students will give information about their faculties, its nature of study and the required skills in every department. It is worth mentioning that SVU includes 23 faculties in Qena, Luxor and Hurghada where 47,000 students in bachelor’s degree and 8000 students in postgraduate course.
