In the context of cultural and scientific cooperation between Egypt and China, a Chinese delegation led by Chairman of Education Committee in Beijing visited Faculty of Al-Alsun in Luxor where President of the University Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour asserted the university interest in promoting the relations with Chinese Universities in the various academic fields, referring to the plan to establish Department of Chinese language at the faculty to increase the cooperation in the various cultural fields. He added that there are many scholarships and agreements with Chinese universities to exchange experiences and establish joint cultural events. Moreover, the Chairman of Education Committee Liu Yu talked about ways of increasing the cooperation with the Egyptian Universities and supporting the libraries with Chinese culture’s books. A presentation on the faculty history and activities, students’ preparation and the mutual cooperation with Chinese universities was made by the faculty supervisor Dr. Rabea Salama.
