Under the patronage of Dr. Maya Morsy, Minister of Social Solidarity, and Prof. Ahmed Akkawi, President of South Valley University, and under the supervision of Dr. Mohamed El-Oqbi, Assistant Minister of Social Solidarity for Strategic Communication and Media, the University’s Social Solidarity Unit, in collaboration with the Career Development Center, organized a Training of Trainers (TOT) – Level 1 program.
The training, held over three days, was part of the awareness activities of the Social Solidarity Unit, aiming to develop and qualify university students’ skills. The sessions were delivered by Dr. Mohamed Omran, Director of the Career Development Center at the university.
Dr. Omran explained that the training covered various aspects, including trainer types, diverse training methods and activities, selection of appropriate training techniques, and effective presentation skills. It also highlighted the characteristics of a successful trainer, supported by video demonstrations, theoretical explanations, and hands-on practical applications.
The training actively engaged university students, particularly volunteers from the Social Solidarity Unit, in an interactive and enriching learning experience.
