Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, the university president and Prof. Dr. Hefny Ismail , Vice President for Student Affairs it is held the preliminary stage of the ideal student competition in the period from February 23 – 26, 2014 with participation of the (17) faculties of the University in Qena , Luxor and the Red Sea about( 17) male students and ( 17) female students in the Hall of Faculty of Science , while the arbitration committee consists of Prof. Dr. Sameh Rehan, professor of Faculty of Education , Dr. Adel Al- Sayed , assistant professor at Faculty of Veterinary Medicine , Dr. Mahmoud Sayed Abdel Sadek ,coordinator of student activities , Dr. Waleed Khalafallah , lecturer at Department of Press , Faculty of Arts , Mr. Metawa Fekry, General Director of youth Care , Mr. Al- Taib Mahmud Abdullah, Director of social activity , Mr. Ahmed Abdul Rahim , head of the Department of social Activity and Mrs. Magda Abu Al-Wafa, at social activity administration
