Awareness symposium of South Valley Convoy in Naga Al-Sebai – Quss


Within the framework of the presidential initiative Haya Karima, SVU organized a medical Convoy in Naga El-Sebai – Qus, Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharbawy, President of South Valley University, and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Kamal Nasary, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The President of the University pointed out that the Convoy included an awareness symposium and a medical campaign carried out by specialists from the Faculty of Nursing, Specific Education, and specialized and distinguished doctors in various specialties from the Faculty of Medicine at the university, during which the Convoy examined and treated 562 patients for free in the following specializations: Internal Medicine (49 cases), Ophthalmology (103cases), Gynecology and Obstetrics (34cases), Ear, Nose & Throat (35cases), Dermatology (116cases), Psychiatry (5cases), Pediatrics (100 cases), and Orthopedics (150cases) moreover, the Combating and Treating Addiction Fund has raised awareness of the addiction dangers to the individual’s health and its impact on the family and society.
