Awareness Seminar on the dangers of addiction at the Faculty of Law, South Valley University.


Within the framework of the cooperation protocol between South Valley University and the Combating and Treating Addiction Fund, an awareness seminar on the dangers of Addiction was held at the Faculty of Law under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharbawy, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Kamal Nasary, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohamad Rushdy, Dean of the Faculty of Law, Dr. Montaser Al-Hamamy, a faculty member at the Faculty of law, Mohamed El-Sayed Al-Kamel, Director of the Environmental Projects Department at the University, Ms. Marwa Abdel Rady, Director of the University’s Volunteer House, and a group of students from various academic teams in the Faculty.

The seminar dealt with essential activities of the Volunteer House at South Valley University in preparing the volunteers, organizing training courses, and awareness activities, indicating the types of drugs, the adverse effects of abuse, and the consequences resulting from Addiction psychologically and nervously, as well as introducing the most important services provided by the hotline of the Fund for Combating and Treating Addiction, and the of Al-Azima Center services for Addiction Treatment.
