Awareness Meeting Held by South Valley University in Abu tisht


The series of awareness meetings for literacy organized by South Valley University for its students in the governorates of Qena, Luxor, and the Red Sea continues. These meetings aim to engage students in the national literacy project during the summer vacation, under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Akawy, President of the University, and Dr. Mohamed Said, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development.

The fourth day’s meeting was hosted by the city of Abutisht and held in the Children’s and Youth Library hall in Abutisht. It featured the participation of Mr. Mohamed El Kamel, the university’s general coordinator, as well as the coordinators from the Faculties of Commerce and Arts, and Mr. Atef El Badri, Director of the Adult Education Department in Abutisht, along with several officials from the Literacy Department in Abutisht and a number of university students. During the meeting, the latest statistics on the number of illiterate individuals in Abutisht were reviewed.
