South Valley University Organizes a Medical and Nursing Caravan in Abnoud Village, Qena
Under the patronage of Dr. Ahmed Akkawy, President of South Valley University, and the supervision of Dr. Mohamed Said, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, the university organized a medical and nursing caravan in Ibnoud Village, Qena, as part of the presidential initiative (A New Beginning for Building Humanity).
Dr. Mohamed Said, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, stated that the medical caravan provided free consultations and medication for 415 cases in specialties including internal medicine, orthopedics, ophthalmology, gynecology and obstetrics, pediatrics, and ENT.
Additionally, the Anti-Drug Fund in Qena raised awareness among the village residents about the importance of combating drug addiction among youth and its negative effects on individuals and society.
The Vice President added that the nursing caravan provided awareness to the residents about intestinal infections and their complications, prevention methods, diabetes and hypertension, their complications, the importance of family planning, and the significance of breastfeeding in disease prevention.
