In line with the directives of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Akkawy, President of South Valley University, to begin work on the executive plan for the project to rename South Valley University to Qena University, the university organized a meeting of the administrative committee for the project, chaired by Ms. Taroub Taleb, Secretary-General of the University, with the presence of Mr. Abdel Razek Hussein, Assistant Secretary-General, and a number of administrative leaders at the university.
Ms. Taroub Taleb, the Secretary-General of the University, stated that the meeting discussed the distribution of tasks among the project’s administrative committee members, including the general directors, the implementation timeline, and the administrative and legal procedures related to the financial, administrative, and accounting aspects of the university.
She added that the work is proceeding according to the directives of the university president to the coordinating committee managing the project, which aims to establish local identity and strengthen the sense of belonging among students, faculty members, and the residents of the governorate.
