Dr. Ahmed Akkaoui, President of South Valley University, attended the second edition of the Comprehensive Awareness Symposium for Egyptian University Youth on Tuesday, February 18. The event was organized by the Egyptian Armed Forces, represented by the Popular Defense and Military Forces, in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. Hosted at Minia University, the symposium aimed to enhance national awareness and foster a sense of loyalty and belonging among young people.
The event was held under the patronage of Dr. Mohamed Ayman Ashour, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Essam El-Din Farhat, President of Minia University, and Major General Osama Abdel Hamid Dawood, Commander of the Popular Defense and Military Forces.
Students from Minia, Assiut, Sohag, South Valley, Luxor, Aswan, and New Valley Universities participated in the symposium, which sought to enhance students’ national awareness, engage them in discussions on national issues, and promote an informed understanding of key societal challenges.
