A symposium on the etiology, treatment and prevention of cancer


  Under the patronage of Dr. Youssef Gharbawy, President of South Valley University, and in cooperation with the Nile Media Center in Qena, the Faculty of Medicine at the University organized a symposium on the etiology and prevention of tumors, in the presence of Rehab Abdel-Bary and Ibrahim El-Sebaei, program and follow-up officials at the center.

   The symposium hosted Dr. Muhammad Mostafa Wahman, Assistant Professor of Oncology at the Faculty of Medicine, who spoke about the difference between cancer and other diseases in terms of susceptibility to cancer, as the tumor may not be limited to one organ, and disease recurrence, which means it can return after recovery.

The symposium dealt with the etiology of tumors of all kinds, a number of scientific facts related to tumors, and the places where health services and treatment are provided.
