A South Valley University Professor Selected for the Science and Sustainability Award in the UK Alumni Awards


Dr. Ahmed Akkaoui, President of South Valley University, announced that Dr. Saddam Hussein, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Commerce for Education and Student Affairs, has been selected as a finalist for the UK Alumni Awards 2024 through the British Council.

 

Akkaoui highlighted that this prestigious award celebrates the outstanding achievements of graduates from UK institutions. Dr. Saddam Hussein was chosen as a finalist for the Science and Sustainability Award in recognition of his significant contributions to these fields, making him one of the most distinguished Egyptian graduates of British institutions.

 

Dr. Saddam Hussein expressed his gratitude to the University President for his continuous support of scientific research at the university.

 

It is worth mentioning that Dr. Saddam Hussein holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Lincoln, UK, and currently serves as the Vice Dean of the Faculty of Commerce for Education and Student Affairs, as well as the Head of the Quantitative Methods Department.
