A Medical Campaign in Al-Tramsah Village, Qena governorate


Under the patronage of prof. Dr. Youssef Ghrabawy, President of South Valley University, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Kamal Nassary, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, a medical campaign was organized by the community service and environmental development sector, in Al-Tramsah Village, Qena. This came within the framework of the university’s societal participation in the presidential initiative “A Dignified Life” that aims to develop the Egyptian countryside.

Dr. Ghrabawy declared that the campaign came under the continuing role of the university in implementing the medical campaign project which comes under the guidance of the political leadership for universities to achieve a sustainable development, also as a part of contribution in building the Egyptian citizen through health-care.

Dr. Nassary, added that the campaign is considered a medical campaign as it provided free treatment and dispensed drugs for free, as well as a campaign to care for people with special needs, and a campaign for addiction treatment, in addition to an artistic and musical campaign that  aims to develop the artistic and musical sense of the citizens.

the campaign had doctors from Faculty of Medicine and Faculty of Pharmacy, and provided free treatment services for 946 patients.
