A comprehensive Convey In Hajer village, Naqada, Qena Governorate


Under the patronage of prof. Dr. Youssef Ghrabawy, President of South Valley University, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Kamal Nassary, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, a comprehensive convey was organized by the community service and environmental development sector, in Hajer village, Naqada, Qena. This came within the framework of the university’s societal participation in the presidential initiative “Decent Life” that aims to develop the Egyptian countryside.

Dr. Gharbawy, confirmed the university’s keenness to implement comprehensive convoys in the various villages of the southern region of Upper Egypt, which provide an integrated package of services that include health, social and sports aspects, which contribute to building the Egyptian person.

Dr. Nassary indicated that the convey included many specialties; the medical convey provided treatment to 369 patients in all specialties In addition to (3) cases of people with special needs, and the veterinary convey provided veterinary services to 267 cases of cows, buffaloes, sheep, goats and birds. Specialists from  the Faculty of Specific Education raised awareness of the villagers in the field of ceramics and the importance of music and artistic activities.

The members of the Addiction Control and Treatment Fund also raised awareness of the villagers about the dangers and harms of drugs.
