A Comprehensive Convey In Al-Darb Village, Naga Hammady, Qena Governorate.


Under the patronage of prof. Dr. Youssef Ghrabawy, President of South Valley University, and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Kamal Nassary, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, a medical convey was organized by the community service and environmental development sector, in Al-Darb Village , Qena . This came within the framework of the university’s societal participation in the presidential initiative “A Dignified Life” that aims to develop the Egyptian countryside.

Dr. Gharbawy, confirmed the university’s keenness to implement comprehensive convoys in the various villages of the southern region of Upper Egypt, which provide an integrated package of services that include health, social and sports aspects, which contribute to building the Egyptian person.

Dr. Nassary indicated that the convey included many specialties; the medical convey examined 383 patients in all specialties, and the veterinary convey provided veterinary services to 251 cases of cows, buffaloes, sheep, goats. As for the convey of people with special needs, it diagnosed mental disability, assessed cases of behavior modification, measured intelligence, and diagnosed mental disorders for 7 patients. The drug addiction convey raised awareness of the dangers of drugs and addiction and their impact on the individual and society. In addition to a workshop organized by a group of faculty members and their assistants at the Faculty of Specific Education with the aim of teaching children in the kindergarten stage the principles and basics of drawing.
