High turnout for the Medical Convey of the South Valley University in Shuaikhat Village in Qena Governorate


Under the patronage of Prof. Dr Youssef Ghrabawy, President of South Valley University, and the supervision of Prof. Dr Kamal Nassary, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, a medical convey was organized by the community service and environmental development sector, in El-Shuaikhat Village, Qena government, this came within the framework of the university’s societal participation in the presidential initiative “A Dignified Life” that aims to develop the Egyptian countryside.
The President of the University Pointing out that convey provided a free medical examination and treatment to 1064 patients of the village people and the veterinary convoy provided services to 309 cases of animals and 995 cases of birds, as part of its keenness to preserve livestock and poultry.
Prof. Dr Nassary indicated that the medical convey provided treatment to patients in all specialities, As follows: Gastroenterology, Hepatology Diseases 150 cases, conjunctivitis 50 cases, orthopaedic Diseases 277 cases, nose and ears Diseases 140 cases, obstetrics and gynaecology 100 cases, Pediatrics Diseases 175 cases, dermatology Diseases 150 cases and 9 cases of people with special needs.
The Addiction Control and Treatment Fund raised the awareness of the villagers about the dangers of drugs, provide free support, treatment and rehabilitation services for addicts, as well as Specialists from the Faculty of Specific Education, pointed out to the villagers the importance of music and painting in the life of the individual and society, taught them how to use different colours in the painting.
