The Orthopaedic Department at the Faculty of Medicine, South Valley University, participated in the 76th International Conference of the Egyptian Orthopaedic Surgeons Association with seven research papers in various specialized fields.
Dr. Sayed Abdel-Hamid, Head of the Department, presented a research paper on knee injuries and chaired one of the conference sessions. Dr. Hamdy Tammam presented a study on vertebral inflammations and also chaired one of the sessions. Additionally, Dr. Khaled Muslim, Dr. Ahmed Khairy, and Dr. Emad Hamdy presented distinguished research on elbow surgeries, pelvic surgeries, and pediatric orthopedic surgery, respectively.
These contributions highlight the department’s ongoing efforts to advance research and practice in orthopedic surgery, further solidifying its role in the medical community.
