2nd International Conference of Fine Arts in Luxor


Under the auspices of Dr. Ashraf al-Shehhi , Minister of Higher Education , Dr. Mohamed Badr, governor of Luxor and Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, the University president , Prof. Dr. Sayed Taha, Vice President for Community Service and Dr. Mohamed Orabi, Dean of Faculty of Fine Arts in Luxor , the university organizes 2nd International Conference of Fine Art and Community Service in the period of February 16- 18,2016.
He pointed that the conference aims to contribute in strengthening role of the visual arts in sustainable development in community , locally , regionally and global , he also added that the conference will discuss the visual arts issues in tourism, archeology, history, education, learning and teaching methods , communication means , science of medicine, physics, chemistry, mathematics, Architecture , environmental design , law, theater , culture, engineering and planning Sciences.
While Prof. Dr. Sayed Taha, Vice President for Community Service a and Honorary President of the conference declared that the conference’s themes included ; Performance arts and its role in the community development and visual , Media and technological updates , teacher’s perform in technical education in the light of Quality standards , cultural development , communication techniques and interactive media , besides discussing the economics of fine art in the light of Human Development , Management Sciences , Fine Arts and the intellectual changes as well as its role in civilization coordination and community organization .
On the other hand, Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Orabi, Dean of Faculty of Fine Arts and the Conference’s President stated that (96) researches participated in the conference from Egypt , Arab countries and foreign , ( 35) participants in collective exhibition, and (8) personal participants in personal exhibition , as Dr. Yousef Ibrahim, secretary-general of the conference added that the Conference’s events begins with inaugural session next Tuesday and will conclude with recommendations on next Thursday.
