22nd Symposium on Scientific Signs in Quran and Sunnah began on April 4-6,2016 Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, the University president honored the winners’ students in the competition of 22nd Symposium of Scientific Signs in Qur’an and Sunnah, which is held on April 4 – 6,2016 under the auspices of Dr. Ashraf El Shiehy , Minister of Higher Education , Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, the University President, Dr. Sultan Abu Arabi, General Secretary of Association of Arab Universities , Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz , General Secretary of International Commission on Scientific Signs in the Qur’an and Sunnah and Prof. Dr. Hefny Ismeal , vice president for student affairs .
While the university president stressed on the keenness of to hold a Symposium, because it is one student activities and important to introduce students to scientific discoveries, also Prof. Dr. Hefny Ismail praised the important role of the symposium on scientific signs for (22) years through hosting great scientists, besides holding many religious seminars and cultural and scientific competitions on the sidelines of the symposium.
On the other hand, Dr. Mahmoud Aref, secretary of symposium pointed out to the importance of holding of the symposium, in order to give students the opportunity to learn the cosmic science.
At the end of symposium , Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, the university president distributed the symposium’s shield to Dr. Magdi Abdel Ghaffar, professor of Islamic Culture and Dawa in Al-Azhar University, in the presence of Dr. Mahmoud Khoddary, former vice president of the university, academic staff , employees and a large number of students.
