In the presence of Vice- President for Community Services and Environmental Affairs Prof. Dr. Sohair Ahmed Hamdy , the former University Vice- President Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Khodary, the Popular and executive Leaderships in Qena, the Military Advisor and President of the Egyptian Veterans and War Victims Association ,Qena Governor General Ashraf Aldawoudy and President of SVU Prof. Dr. Youssuf Gherbawy attended the celebration of the International Day of People with Disabilities held by the Social Rehabilitation Office for Disabled in Qena.
The celebration was under the theme “The Future is Accessible” which means that we must all, together, look towards a future where the barriers which stand in people’s way no longer exist. We envisage a future where people can access a building without using stairs; where a person can access a ramp to the beach; or can get a job without fear of discrimination; or can access a mainstream classroom. Working towards an accessible future is everyone’s responsibility.
we hope to create a future which demands that people are not excluded because of their health impairments.
