 1st International Conference for Fine Arts and Community Services that organized by south valley university in the period of February 17-19, 2015 under the auspices of Prof. Dr. El Sayed Abd El Khalek,Minister of Higher Education, Ambassador / Sameh Shoukry, Minister of Foreign , Dr. Mohamed Sayed Bader , Luxor governor and Prof. Dr. Abbas Mansour, the university president was recommended with importance of teaching visual communication theories at faculties of fine arts this was stated by Prof. Dr. Sayed Taha, Vice President for Community Service and General Supervisor on the conference , while Dr. Ahmed Oraby , the faculty’s dean and chairman of the conference stressed on researches of human civilizations, besides establishing Egyptian Museum of Contemporary Visual Arts in Luxor and establishing the public parks for promotion of belonging to the nation This came at the closing session of the conference in the presence of Ambassador / Olfet Farah , Assistant Secretary of Foreign Minister for Cultural Relations, who emphasized on the role of arts in sustainable development, community and cultural, finally Prof. Dr Sayed Taha, Vice President for Community service and Prof. Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Orabi, Dean of Faculty Fine Arts handed the University Shield to Olfet Farah , as well as honoring Prof. Dr. Abd El Mateen Mosa, former president of South Valley University, Dr. Hassan Abd El Fattah, the first dean of Faculty of Fine Arts, Dr. Hamdi Abdullah, Former Dean of Faculty of Art Education, Helwan Universit and Dr. Abd El Moneim Alwani , decoration professor and head of theater department at Helwan University.
