Qena University’s President hosts a symposium on integrating the constitutional judiciary and local administration to achieve sustainable development.

Prof. Dr. Ahmed Akawy, President of Qena University, received Counselor Dr. Tarek Mohamed Abdel Qader, Chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the Supreme Constitutional Court, and Counselor Mohamed Ayman Saad El-Din, Vice President of the Supreme Constitutional Court, as part of their visit to the university to participate in the activities of the scientific symposium organized by the Students for Egypt family at the Faculty of Law on ”Integration of Constitutional Judiciary and Local Administration in Achieving Sustainable Development”. This was attended by Dr. Mohamed Saeed, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Dr. Mohamed Wael, Vice President of the University for Graduate Studies and Research Affairs, Dr. Ashraf Mossa, Vice President of the University for Education and Student Affairs, Counselor Samir Sabra, Advisor to the State Council, Dr. Abdel Bary Suleiman, Dean of the Faculty of Law, and Dr. Abbas Mostafa, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law for Education and Student Affairs and General Pioneer of the Students for Egypt Family at the Faculty of Law Dr. Fatma Al-Zahraa Fawzy, Assistant Pioneer of the Students for Egypt Family at the Faculty of Law and symposium coordinator, and Dr. Sherihan Mansor, teacher at the Faculty of Law. During the meeting, the University President welcomed the distinguished guests, expressing his pride in the visit of the symbols of the constitutional judiciary to the university, and stressing the university’s keenness to build bridges of cooperation with judicial institutions in a way that contributes to supporting the educational and research process, and enhancing students’ awareness of contemporary legal and constitutional issues, in line with the state’s orientations towards building the human being and achieving sustainable development.
For their part, both the university and the visiting advisors praised the importance of collaboration between academic and judicial institutions in preparing qualified legal cadres capable of serving the community, where the meeting focused on enhancing cooperation between the university and the Supreme Constitutional Court in training and legal education to better prepare students for the labor market and facilitate expertise exchange
Prof. Dr. Ahmed Akawy presented the University Shield to Counselor Dr. Tarek Mohamed Abdel Qader and Counselor Mohamed Ayman Saad El-Din, recognizing the Court’s contributions to the constitutional justice system and their role in enriching the Faculty of Law’s symposiums. The presentation highlighted the University’s appreciation for the judiciary and its commitment to collaboration. Faculty members are encouraged to participate in upcoming joint initiatives.
