Preparation of alumni are able to provide a nursing ,preventive, curative and rehabilitative service match the international standards in all branches of nursing to meet the health needs for the individual, family and community , the use of scientific and global methods , all scientific developments and applications of excellent humanities science in all areas of nursing, education and research practice and development of nursing education, and the continuous education for all categories of nursing in the South Valley and the development of experiences .

An art competition 20/4/2013 Youth Welfare administration at the faculty announced an art competition for the faculty students include many fields such as; painting on glass and wood-based panels, and the winners will receive a financial prizes and certificates of appreciation.
“How to be a creative” 20/4/2013 The faculty held a symposium entitled "How to be a creative" in order to interest on the cultural and creative activity for the faculty students. The symposium lectured by one of specialists in the field of training from Luxor, the symposium also supervised on Youth Welfare administration at the faculty.
Symposium on “the psychological support for nursing profession” 20/4/2013 The
faculty organized a symposium entitled "psychological support for
the nursing profession" within the framework of the faculty
attention to upholding the nursing profession.
Processing a nursing tent at the faculties of South Valley University 20/4/2013 The supervisor of the faculty, Dr. Hisham Refaay stated that the Youth Welfare administration at the faculty prepared in conjunction with the General administration for Youth Welfare (Department of Scout and public service) to do the processing of nursing tent at the all faculties in order to educate students on how to conduct first aid for common cases such as "fractures, injuries, and fainting”.

A symposium on "the importance of blood donation" in conjunction with the Regional Blood Center 20/4/2013 Within
the framework of strengthening the voluntary work, the faculty in
conjunction with the Regional Blood Center in Qena Governorate
organized a symposium on the importance of blood donation and the
physical and spiritual benefits, which has been achieved through
voluntary blood donation.
A symposium on "How to early detection of the virus (HCV)" 20/4/2013 The faculty organized a symposium on "How to early detection of the virus (HCV)".The symposium lectured by Dr. Sahar Fahmey, a faculty member at the faculty. The lecture dealt with how the treatment of the virus and medical methods that contributes to the success of the treatment.
