Prof. Dr Youssef Gharbawy, President of South Valley University, announced the emergence of the result of the British Times of Young University Rankings (the 2022 document) this morning, where it was in the category from 301 to 350 In the previous year, added that the university came in (8) locally out of 29 Egyptian universities.
Prof. Dr Ahmed Akawy, Vice President of South Valley University for Post Graduate and Research Affairs, indicated that this classification measures the performance of universities in five areas: teaching, scientific research, citations, international reputation and community participation. Universities are judged on all of their core missions(teaching, research, knowledge transfer, and international dimension) to provide the most comprehensive and balanced comparisons available.
The president of the university thanked all the members of South Valley University and the international classification work team at the university under the leadership of Prof. Dr Ahmed Akawy, which includes Dr Mohamed Ali Mohamed Ismail, the official and the representative of the university for the international classification, Dr Hamouda Mohamed Dardir, Dr Montaser Abed El-Satar, the engineer Hossam Harz Allah, the engineer Hamada Mohsab, the engineer Ahmed Hassan, and the professor Mohamed Sayed.
