Dr. Ahmed Kamal Nassary, vice president for community service and environmental development affairs, The supervision of Dr. Mahfouz Abdel Sattar, dean of faculty of education in Hurghada, Dr. Ossama Omara, Vice dean for educational and student affairs and Dr. Karima Abdellah, vice dean for community service and environment development affairs, faculty of education in Hurghada organized a seminar on “combating addiction and drug abuse”
Dr. Mahmoud El-Sebaei, manager of the pharmacy administration of the health directorate in Hurghada lectured in the seminar and spoke about the definition of drugs and their types, types of addiction and ways of protection and types of medicines and their effect on addiction, Dr. Osama Omara spoke about the effect of addiction on young people and the importance of practicing sports to occupy their spare time.
Dr. Karima spoke about the importance of health Awareness and the effect of addiction on the community and the role of the university in sensitizing students and combating addiction .
