A Seminar on Physiotherapy “The  Future and Life of People with Special Needs”

 

Under the patronage of prof. Dr. Youssef Gharbawi, president of South Valley University and prof. Dr. Ahmed Kamal Nassary, vice president for community service and environmental development affairs, The supervision of Dr. Mahfouz Abdel Sattar, dean of faculty of education in Hurghada and Dr. Karima Abdellah, vice dean for community service and environmental development affairs, faculty of education in Hurghada organized a seminar on Physiotherapy” future and life of people with special needs”.

Dr. Sherine Mostafa, physical therapist lectured in the seminar about the definition of people with special needs and their classification, the role of physiotherapy on mutation occurrence, the great progress in treating people with special needs, raising the level of motor and muscle activity and modifying their behavior through hydrotherapy, electrotherapy and nerve stimulation. Emphasizing the need of sustaining the attention of society to this category and the psychosocial support to raise them towards a better life.
