The strategic goals of the college

The Faculty of Engineering in Qena was established to graduate highly skilled specialized engineers, who are able to absorb modern technology in engineering fields, deal with it efficiently on site and keep pace with its continuous global developments

The most important goals of the college

  • Providing an advanced model for engineering education related to specific industries that serve the surrounding environment and keep pace with global engineering trends in the use of computer science and its applications in industry. The college will also develop the performance, modernization and work of economic, technical and feasibility studies for the industrial zones scattered in southern Upper

  • To help develop the governorates of southern Upper Egypt in the field of higher education and provide job opportunities (training courses), and this is consistent with the election program of His Excellency Mr. President of the Republic and the directives of Mr. Prof. Dr. / Prime Minister

  • Create a model for cooperation between the educational institution and production sites

  • Opening the field of engineering study for the sons of the governorates of Qena, the Red Sea, and the New Valley, which lack engineering colleges, and reducing the burden on the region’s expatriate residents in other governorates

  • Preparing courses for continuing education and training for engineers in the areas of the college’s specialization

  • Directing graduate studies to solve practical problems facing industries (such as aluminum – sugar – paper – wood)

  •  Support the state plan to establish industrial zones in the surrounding area. It will also conduct applied research, studies, tests and consultations
