Symposium on hepatitis viruses at Qena Medicine

Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Akawi, President of the University, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Saeed, Vice President of the University for Community Service & Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ali Abdel Rahman Ghawil, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Prof. Dr. Ahmed Hashem Abdel Allah, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service & Environmental Development Affairs, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector held a symposium on hepatitis viruses in collaboration with the Students Union “for Egypt”. Prof. Dr. Hassan Siddiq, a specialist in digestive and liver health, discussed the transmission routes of liver viruses, including oral and bloodborne methods, as well as symptoms like chronic liver cirrhosis and ongoing stress. He emphasized treatment approaches such as balanced nutrition and careful blood transfusions to prevent infection. The event encouraged productive dialogue between students and the platform members.
