The Expatriate Students.


The headquarters of South Valley University is located in the city of Qena, and it has two other branches in the cities of Luxor and Hurghada in the South of Egypt, the cradle of civilizations, from where arose the ancient Egyptian culture that taught humanity arts, literature and knowledge.
South Egypt has a mild climate, its inhabitants are well cohabitation and generous, and because of the economic development movement there, the economic and living standards have been raised, therefor students can live in the South without material or moral hardship, as well as students, can enjoy visiting the archaeological areas during the study time. South Valley University contains a lot of faculties in different disciplines.

Submission Documents:

-Secondary Education Certificate Certified by his country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and approved by the Egyptian Embassy.
-The origin of the birth certificate is Certified in the same way as previously.
-Letter from the Embassy of the student in Cairo or the Cultural Attaché of his country in Cairo approving his studies at the Egyptian University (requirement to treat the student at the minimum year 95/96 in all faculties in different sectors).
-A copy of the student’s passport.
-6 recent pictures of the student.
-Application form.
-Information form (origin + 2 copies).
-Wish card to express his wishes in Faculties that correspond to his total grades and qualifying subjects.
-The Expatriate Students’ Guide contains a statement of all information about university Faculties and higher institutes and a statement of equivalent certificates for all countries of the world.

Conditions for Admission

-The admission of the expatriate student must meet all the applicable admission requirements, which are that the medical examination proves free of infectious diseases and is suitable to continue the study to which he applies under the rules set by the Supreme Council of Universities and the Councils of Faculties.
-The minimum of the foreign secondary applies to all students with one qualification either from home or abroad.
-Exceptions may be made to the requirement of the newness of the qualification for students who have obtained the equivalent secondary school nominated through their countries in order to strengthen Egypt’s relations with various countries of the world, especially the Arab-African countries, and this is applied by the Ministry (this condition applies to the Faculties of the summit only within one year only in addition to the year of admission).
-The Countries whose application is accepted through Arab Affairs in all Faculties and institutes (Saudi Arabia – Lebanon – Palestine – Jordan – Iraq – Yemen – Qatar – Sudan – Tunisia – Algeria).
-Faculties whose students are admitted through Arab Affairs for all nationalities (Human Medicine – Oral and Dental Medicine – Pharmacy – Physical therapy – Engineering – Petroleum Engineering and Mining – Fine Arts -Architecture – Urban Planning ).

-The University accepts expatriate students only as newcomers (without transfers or completion of a study).

Facilitations For the Expatriate Students.

The university provides adequate housing in its university hostels for expatriate students with the payment of the prescribed fees for this and also helps students to obtain external housing if there is no housing in the university hostels.
