Faculty of Al-Alsun and Faculty of Computers Participate in the Selection of Miss People of Determination

Believing in its responsibility towards the community, South Valley University is determined to fulfill its role. And in light of the Egyptian leadership emphasis on promoting interest in people of determination, Thaat Foundation held on Wednesday the 15th of Dec. a celebration of Miss people of determination coinciding the World Day of people of special abilities.

The Contest includes girls within age groups 6 to 14 years old coming from various Egyptian governorates (Alexandria, Cairo, Mansoura, Qalyubia, Red Sea). The referee panel of the contest were Professor Dr. Rouqaia Mahmoud Ahmed, Vice Dean of Al-Alsun faculty for Community Service and Environment, professor Dr. Rabab Zamzamy, Vice Dean of Computers faculty for Community Service and Environment, Mrs. Aydas Eldhaba, Head of Red Crescent, actor Nourhan and singer Hassan Fouad.

Students also participated in organizing the event which was witnessed by Major General Amr Hanafy Governor of Red Sea, Brigadier Tamer Samir, Mrs. Omaima Ibrahim president of Thaat foundation, MP Mohamed Saeed Al-Dabi, religious figures, and the kid’s parents and relatives. The contest announced the winners: Laia Hossam as the Miss people of determination, Haneen Mohamed and Sara Hany as her the Maids
The event took place under the auspices of his excellency Professor Dr. Youssif Ghrabawy, the University President, professor Dr. Badawy Shahat, Vice President for Education and student Affairs, Professor Dr. Ahmed Kamal Nassary, Vice President for Community Service and Environment, Professor Dr. Mahfouz Abdelsattar, Vice President of Hurghada Branch, Professor Dr. ElSaadi ElGhoul ElSaadi, Dean of the faculty of Al-Alsun, and Professor Dr. Ashraf Mahmoud Ahmed, Dean of the faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence.
