Objectives of the Department:

1. Recognize the physical, psychological and social changes that occur

with geriatric.

2. Emphasizing the importance of effective communication with older

persons.

3. Awareness of students about community places that provide services

for the elderly; homes and clubs for the elderly….

4. Providing students with the necessary information for the care of the

elderly in health and disease.

5. Training students on different scientific skills in comprehensive care for

the elderly.
