The Republican decree No. 267 dated 7/20/2007 was issued approval for the establishment of the faculty of nursing at South Valley University in Qena branch, and the Supreme Council of Universities approved in its session No. 447 on 28/8/2006 to start the Faculty of Nursing from the academic year 2007/2008
