Opening of the German Language Club at Al-Alsun College in Hurghada

Al-Alsun College in Hurghada, “South Valley University Branch”, celebrated the opening of the German Language Club, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharabawy, President of South Valley University, Prof. Dr. Mahfouz Abdel-Sattar, Vice President of the University for Hurghada Branch, and Prof. Dr. El-Saadi Al-Ghoul El-Saadi, Dean of the College, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Ashraf  Mahmoud Ahmed, Dean of the College of Education, and Professor Dr. Osama Emara, Dean of the College of Computers and Artificial Intelligence, under the supervision of Dr. Ahmed Moawad, Department of German Language at the College

The ceremony was held in the college conference hall, where the students performed some entertainment shows in German, which aim to apply the language in daily life. The ceremony concluded by honoring the top students in the first semester.

The aim of establishing the German Language Club is to apply the use of the language and help students to get rid of fear when speaking and hence preparing them for the labor market.

Dr. Al-Saadi Al-Ghoul, Dean of the College, explained that the club is an actual step towards transforming the study from a purely theoretical model to an interactive practical application based on the ideas of the students themselves, under the supervision of the department’s professors and under the guidance of the college administration.
