Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharbawy, President of the University, and Prof. Dr. Ashraf Muhammed Abu Al-Walfa, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, the Faculty won a project to fund and accredit the pharmaceutical and cosmetic analysis laboratory by the amount of 2,800,000 L.E.
This project is a competitive project submitted by the Projects Department of the Ministry of Higher Education to fund International Accreditation Projects of Laboratories and Institutions of Higher Education at its the thirteenth session in the applied areas needed by the productive and service sectors of society, in order to increase their performance in accordance with international standards and to increase the capacity of technical personnel and access to sustainable mechanisms for self-financing.
The applicants work team for the project includes Prof. Ashraf Abu Al-Walafa, Dean of the College, Project Manager, and Dr. Adel Mohamed, teacher, Department of Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry, Project Executive Director and team members, Dr. Issam Abu Bakr. Department of Medicines and Toxicology, Abeer, Department of Pharmaceutics.
