Under the auspices of His Excellency Prof. Youssef Gharabawy, President of the University, Prof. Dr. BadawyShahat, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Kamal Nassari, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, Prof. Dr. Al-Saadi Al-Ghoul Al-Saadi, Dean of the Faculty of Al-Alsun, and Prof. Dr. Haggag Muhammad Haggag Vice Dean for Education and Student Affairs and Prof. Dr. Ruqayya Mahmoud, Vice Dean for Community Service, and under the slogan (a first aider in every home), Al Alsun College in Hurghada held a two-day training course on first aids presented by Dr. Mohamed Salama, water safety and first aid expert, and Dr. Mohamed Ali, Director of the SAFE LINE Center for Water Safety and First Aid Services.
They explained the importance, objectives and steps of first aid. The students were practically trained on the correct action in emergency situations in which they are first aiders, such as: accidents, heart attacks, fainting, loose tongue and drowning in infants, children and adults.
The students were also practically trained on how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation CPR, and how to act when the airway is obstructed
