World Arabic Language Day at Faculty of Arts


Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Youssef Ghrabawy, President of South Valley University, Faculty of Arts celebrated the World Arabic Language Day. Dr. Mohamed El-Sayed Abdel-Wahab, Dean of the Faculty, started the celebration with a speech about the relationship of the Arabic language to psychology and the value of the Arabic language in life and society. Dr. Mohamed Abul Fadl Badran, former vice president of the university and a professor at Faculty of Arts, talked about the opinion of a group of scholars in Arabic language and its value in the world and religion together. Dr. Waheed Al-Din Taher Abdel Aziz, Vice Dean for Postgraduate Studies and Research, talked about linguistic anecdotes and various linguistic theses. Also performances of poetry and literature were presented during the celebration.
