Prof. Dr. Ahmed Okkaoui, President of South Valley University, received Dr. Hani Antar, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in Qena, to discuss potential areas of collaboration. The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Said, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development; Prof. Dr. Mohamed Wael, Vice President for Postgraduate Studies and Research; Major General Mokhtar Mahfouz, Commander of the Military Schools Sector for Qena, Sohag, and the Red Sea; Mr. Ashraf Saad Mokhtar, Director General of Information Systems and Digital Transformation at the Qena Directorate of Education; Mr. Ahmed Hamdi, Director General of the University President’s Office; and Mr. Amr El-Badri, Director General of Public Relations and Media at the University.
The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation between the university and the Directorate of Education in Qena, particularly in the area of practical training for students of the Faculties of Education at schools across the governorate. This initiative aims to prepare well-qualified graduates capable of effectively integrating into the educational system.
