Dr. Ahmed Akkawy, President of South Valley University, conducted an inspection tour of the Faculty of Physical Therapy and the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Center at the university. He was accompanied during the tour by Dr. Mahmoud El-Shazly, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Therapy, and a group of administrative leaders.
During the tour, the university president inspected the study halls, laboratories, and the faculty’s conference hall. Pointing out that the faculty building was equipped on the latest educational and medical methods to become the Faculty of Physical Therapy the most important therapeutic services institution in southern Egypt and to graduate a generation capable of providing the best medical care. He also inspected the physiotherapy and rehabilitation center, which is one of the largest centers in the Middle East. It is built on an area of more than 11 thousand square meters and consists of four terraces, 12 classrooms, six laboratories, five departments, 66 residence rooms and wards, next to a swimming pool for hydrotherapy and hotel building. He also praised the effort made by those in charge of the faculty’s administration and recommended overcoming any difficulties faced by those in charge of working at the faculty and the center.
