The President of South Valley University meets with Banque Misr delegation to discuss aspects of joint cooperation


Within the framework of South Valley University’s efforts to enhance financial inclusion services, Dr. Ahmed Akkawy, University President, received the delegation of Banque Misr, which includes Mustafa Sayeh, Director of Banque Misr in New Qana, Ahmed Muhammad Adel, and Walid Hamed.

The University President discussed enhancing opportunities for joint cooperation between the university and Banque Misr in supporting mechanisms of financial inclusion in various transactions for university employees. He also reviewed the efforts undertaken by the University in this field and the capacity-building of various members of the University community in dealing with the tools of digital transformation and stimulating the use of electronic means of payment, pointing out the importance of achieving integration between the educational component and the financial component within the framework of the university’s interest in supporting the investment climate.

The delegation of Banque Misr presented cooperation between the Bank and various Egyptian universities in the areas of financial inclusion and entrepreneurship. The Bank offers various training courses and free accounts for students in addition to the field of savings such as electronic association, daily investment account and insurance on the lives of students in different categories.
