The President of South Valley University and the Deputy Governor of Qena put the footing stone of the two projects of Future City 1&2 in Qena’s new city.


Prof. Dr. Youssef Gharabawy, President of South Valley University, Dr. Hazem Omar, Deputy Governor of Qena, Prof. Dr. Ahmed Kamal Nasari, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Major General Fouad Abbas Tawfik, President of the Cooperative Union, and Dr. Ahmed Abdel Zaher, President of the General Union of Egyptian, Arab, and African Cooperatives, laid the foundation stone of the two most significant projects in the New Qena City (Compound Project Mostakbal City 1 and 2) for university employees in the presence of members of the Central Housing Cooperative Union of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Engineer Ayman Rashad, head of the New Qena City Authority, and some deputies of the People’s Assembly and Shura Council in Qena Governorate.

The President of the University explained that Mostakbal City 1, with an area of 70 acres, includes 700 residential buildings consisting of a ground floor, three upper floors, and a surface roof with an area of 25% of the ground floor in addition to service buildings and landscape, while the second Compound the future city 2 with an area of 75 acres, includes various residential buildings between villas and residential structures within 700 buildings and villas.
