Dr. Ahmed Akkawi, President of South Valley University, witnessed the launch of the training program on “Electronic Governance for University Taxis” at the Faculty of Computers and Information, in the presence of Dr. Emad Ali, Dean of the Faculty, and with the participation of 30 university security personnel. President Akkawi expressed his gratitude to Dr. Emad Ali for organizing this training program, which aims to regulate the entry of transportation services within the university campus to benefit the university community, ensure campus security and safety, and facilitate the movement of faculty, staff, and students.
Dr. Emad Ali, Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information, provided a detailed explanation of the system’s features and operational steps, starting from the vehicle’s entry to the university until its exit. The application includes various controls and mechanisms such as entry timings for transportation, specified speed limits, registration in the university’s electronic system, and designated entry and exit points for vehicles.
