South Valley University participates in the 19th International Dental Conference


Prof. Dr. Ahmed Akkawy, President of South Valley University, witnessed the launch of the 19th International Dental Conference, which is organized by the Egyptian Association in cooperation with the World Academy of Ultrasonic Piezoelectric Bone Surgery during the period from 5 to 8 December in Luxor.

 Dr. Ahmed Akkawy pointed out the importance of this conference as it allows researchers to learn about everything new in the field of dental surgery by communicating with specialists from different countries, thereby increasing the expertise and continuing training in the field of dental surgery, which is considered one of the vital fields of medical science that is witnessing a rapid development. He added that this is a commendable effort by the Egyptian Dental Association, which has a major role in managing conferences periodically since its inception. In addition, associations and unions must have a significant role in Egyptian universities; academics must cooperate with dentists and also contribute to determining the number of admissions to dental faculties. 

Dr. Ahmed Talaat Tamerek, Dean of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine and one of the conference participants, stated that this conference aims to raise the quality of medical services provided in the field of oral and dental medicine, adding that it has lecturers from different countries of the world with the aim of exchanging experiences and continuous training for practitioners of oral and dental medicine.
